Ideas for Elf on the Shelf

I have posted several ideas on what you can do with your elf on the shelf, but here are a few more ideas you can use!

Jimmy coloring an elf from a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer coloring book.

Barrel of monkeys- I got these Diddy Kong Monkeys in a Burger King kids meal but you can use any monkeys you find. :)

Princess Jimmy -  the boys thought this was really funny. Imagine waking up to this!

Scuba Jimmy - I didn't want to waste too much water so I just put him in the sink. Our fish tank is not big enough to put the boat in. I just love this little outfit (Walmart - $5)

Bernard visit - have any extra elves? They can make a surprise visit every now and then when the kiddos are well behaved!

Swinging elves:

Sleeping elves:

I used beanies as sleeping bags and we got them little pillows for about 10 cents at a Christmas warehouse. :)

Elf checkers-  I was too tired to move the elves after Sunday night church so I placed them in the box. My brothers got up and looked for them and couldn't find them. So when I got up I got out my mini Mickey Mouse checker board (came with a popcorn tin from Walmart) and I put them on the table for the boys to see when they get home. I may leave a note saying "We were late getting home, the traffic at the N.P. was terrible!"

Train set - antique shop for $4

Reading Elf on the Shelf book-

I loved this one! Bernard drew Jimmy - used a plate holder from an antique shop - $1

Plushie Time-

Coffee Time-

Hanging out in the party tree ( hiding because we had a guest)

The boys are wanting a girl elf to visit and I just can't pay another $30 for one... so I bought 2 of these dolls for $10. This one looks more like an elf, she has red hair and a red outfit. I also got one with black hair and a blue outfit. I removed the legs, made her a hat and made some mittens. :) Oh... and she has shoes but I forgot to put them on for the picture.
More scuba - I love this outfit so I put Jimmy in it again and he sat by the sink while Bernard was in the tub...

A soothing bath while playing a game :)

In the car, ready for Holiday in the Park!! :)

Jimmy came one morning with a broken arm, injured leg and a knot on his head :( His sister Trixie came to take care of him... she has a N.P. medical kit and 2 candy canes so that he can walk on his injured leg. They came with a note saying he was being silly and fell off a reindeer. It's a good way to bring extra elves in, instead of buying a new elf I got a Disney fairy doll from Target and re-did her hands and legs. :) and of course I gave her a new hat!

I woke up to this picture on my background. I guess Jimmy and Bernard were taking pictures with my phone! They also took pictures on the boys ipods and Brayden's DS.

Use dry erase markers to draw elf ears on school pictures :)

Playing the DS

I was having trouble finding a spot for these 3 elves one night.. 3 is hard to keep up with! I finally decided to put them in my and the boys stockings..

Poor Bernard was sick :( Luckily he had Jimmy and Trixie to take care of him!

Nurse Trixie with the thermometer and emergency peppermint and marshmallows.

Jimmy had the tissues (and the skateboard Brennan gave to him)

Bernard had his fuzzy blanket, pillow pet and Santa doll. He looks comfortable :)

Look who's in the car ready to go for a drive...

Accumulated some new friends :P

Baby it's cold outside!

Made a felt scarf for the elves (except Bernard.. he already had one) They were SUPER easy, jut cut strips from felt, pulled it tight and cut slits in the bottoms. And I used glitter glue pens to label each scarf.. I used mine and the boys favorite colors.

LOVE this! :) I was antique shopping for stocking stuffers and came accross several of these little Santa coats. They were only $2! It fits Bernard perfect.

Jimmy got himself a sleeping hat, he also drew himself...

Bernard rides in on Spyro!

This was fun, made some mini pancakes. I was going to make green ones but I was running late that morning.
